NEWSLETTERS
Newsletters are sent to all families from time to time. They are numbered from the September of the current year so you will be able to see at a glance if you have missed one. Newsletters are archived for your reference on the school’s website.
As a school, Cherry Orchard works hard at maintaining good communications with parents, primarily through newsletters and the website. If these lines of communication are not sufficient, we encourage parents to phone the school directly on (01905) 352787.

Here you will find information about school events; copies of newsletters; photographs of school activities; communications from the School Governors and School Association and other general information about the on-going work of the school.
PARENTS’ EVENINGS AND REPORTS
Parents’ Evenings are held in the Autumn and the Spring terms. These are opportunities to discuss your child’s progress. Obviously, should you wish to discuss matters relating to your child’s education and welfare at any other time, then a mutually convenient time can be arranged through the school office.
There is also an annual Open Evening where you have the opportunity to look around the school at different work/displays exhibited in the classroom. From time to time Parents’ Information Evenings are held, focusing on an aspect of the School’s work, for example on the teaching of Numeracy.

COSA – CHERRY ORCHARD SCHOOL ASSOCIATION
COSA is open to all parents. It is an active organisation which gives great support to the school with a wide range of social and fund- raising activities as well as practical help and support. Details of the various events organised by COSA are sent regularly to parents and you are warmly invited to attend.
