Dear Parents,

Welcome to Blanford Mere Primary School. This prospectus has been produced
to give you some important information about our school organisation, and an
insight into our aims and educational philosophy.

Our main aim is to provide a high standard of education for your child, and to make
his or her time with us as happy and successful as possible. We believe that
children work best in an atmosphere of co-operation in which they feel secure, and
we value the support and interest of all parents.

We hope that you will join us in a partnership to support your child’s learning. We
are always pleased to meet parents to discuss their child’s progress and plan a
variety of occasions during the year when you can meet your child’s teacher. If
you have any concerns about your child, then please do come into school and
share them with either the class teacher or the Leadership Team.

Whether you are joining Blanford Mere for the first time or already have children in
school, we look forward to working with you to provide a rewarding and enjoyable
experience for all our children.
