How will this course help me in the future?

This course teach you essential life skills and allow you to develop a knowledge of nutrition, health and well-
being. It can also lead to further studies or experience in:

• Sports related courses where nutrition is key
• Consumer Management
• Tourism
• Early Years, Youth and Community Work

Is there anything else I need to know?

At KS4 you will be expected to wear chef’s whites, a hat and apron when taking part in practical activities.
You will also be required to bring ingredients for all your practical lessons, to gain experience of the essential
skills that are required for the course.
