Religious Education
Since September 2016, the Government have required that all students study a minimum of two religions
in all Key Stage 4 courses. In accordance with instruction received from the Bishops’ Conference of England
and Wales, our GCSE course will be based upon Catholic Christianity 50%, Judaism 25% and Themes (moral
Issues) 25%. The assessment is 100% exam. Students sit two exams at the end of Year 11.
