Assessment & Achievement

Brook Primary School assesses children to support teaching and learning. NTS assessments are
completed termly.

This ensures we can meet your child’s needs. Teachers assess each pupil’s progress on an
ongoing basis throughout the year and gap analysis is completed to identify gaps in learning to
inform future teaching.

Parents’ evenings are normally held twice a year to provide personalised dialogue about your
child’s progress, achievements, and next steps in their learning journey. Annual written reports are
issued at the end of each academic year.
